Donations

Our work is funded by donations. So what is it that needs payment? At first there are the ongoing costs of operating a server and our domains which amount to about 35€ per month. We want to save money for things like education of our team members, travelling costs and to participate in symposiums as well. Additionally it may happen that bigger costs come along at some point like having education material printed or getting legal advice. To enable us to address such needs we are planning to do special fund-raising campaigns every now and then. There will be a yearly campaign to collect the amount of money needed to pay the ongoing costs of each year, for example.

Current fund-raiser: Operating costs for 2022

At the beginning of 2022 we are collecting donations for the operating costs of our domains and server for the current year. Goal of the fund-raiser is 420€ and the campaign is running until March 1st 2022 for now.

How to donate?

• Bank transfer
  Like any normal bank account you can transfer your donation using the bank details of our association's account:

• PayPal — There is also a PayPal-account attached to this bank account so you can donate to this e-mail address mailbox@suh-ev.de on their platform. This is a direct donation-link which you may use for 1-time or monthly donations. Keep in mind that PayPal will substract its fees from the sum you are sending our way. So what we get will always be a little less than what you have sent! (In February 2022 those fees were given as 2,49% of the amount you send + 0,35€ within Germany)

How to donate?

• One-time donations: Any normal transfer is welcome no matter its size.
• Recurring donations: Recurring donations are especially useful to us since they would create a regular basis that we can count on, even if the individual donation is a rather small amount. Via PayPal and via bank transfer you can usually also define a transfer to repeat on some regualr basis. Usually a month. This way recurring donation are possible. The operating costs for example are comparable to 5 people who each pay for a streaming service (7€) once a month.
• Donating anonymously: For now there is only the possibility to donate anonymously via mail which isn't encouraged. We are considering other ways to enable anonymous donations but that will take some time still.

About Anonymity see our team's standards regarding personal data we get to know while active for SuH. Like with our e-mail consultations we promise confidentiality, and will do our best to keep any such data inside the association/team.
